The movie that stopped a generation from leaving the shore, "Jaws" is probably the most financially-successful horror movie ever.  Steven Spielberg's first big break, this film is perfect entertainment, a real mainstream foray for the horror genre.  Very realistically filmed, this is not so much a horror film as a "popcorn picture," pure fun for all involved.  No description is really needed, just a rating:  5 stars out of 5 as a movie, but 3.5 out of 5 for horror.  There's too much fun for it to be as frightening as other horror flicks.
