I finally got to see this "Horror/Sci-Fi" classic the other day for the first time.  It really surprised me.  It reminded me a lot of Star Wars for all the special effects for the time which were excellent.  The acting was really good and Ridley Scott knows how to keep his audience on the edge of their seats.  I didn't seem to find it as scary as other people have found it.  This may have something to do with that I watched it on a 15 inch laptop screen which I'm sure takes away some of the effects that the big screen had.  The Big Screen version was said to be one of the scariest movies of all time.   The movie however was entertaining throughout the whole movie and kept me into it even if it didn't flat out scare me.   I still had chills going up and down my body from it.   I am going to give this classic a 5 out of 5 for being a great film in all sections of the film.
